The Champagne Tour: By bike and boat from Paris to Epernay

Discover the region of Champagne and sample the best treats it has to offer. The tour begins in Paris and winds through small country roads bringing you to vineyards and boutique wineries. Most of the route will be covered by bike, while the boat will serve as your floating home. On the way, you will have a chance to taste the authentic brie cheese from Meaux – a raw milk delicacy once reserved for Parisians only and visit Château-Thierry – a scene of major battles in World War I. The tour ends with a visit to a chapel with the tomb of the monk Dom Pérignon (1638-1715) located in Montagne de Reims, and a festive Champagne tasting in one of the Epernay major wine estates.

From Paris to the Venice of the Gâtinais by boat and bike

Our tour begins in the heart of Paris. Starting near Notre-Dame cathedral, we will sail our boat up the Seine. You will get to explore magnificent nature and bike through landscapes that inspired many artists in the 19th-century, visit charming medieval towns, castles, monasteries, and museums. The biking route of this tour lies off the beaten track, mainly through quiet country roads.

Small groups of like-minded travelers

Both tours are limited to small groups of travelers. Perfect for meeting like-minded culture pilgrims and bike enthusiasts, these are active but hassle-free vacations. As you travel the country roads for majestic views and sail the rivers to explore this nation’s impressive history, our ship crews will be there to make sure the time spent onboard is equally memorable.
