This tour leads you through a region that’s one of the most beloved among Dutch cyclists. Come and explore it yourself, by bike and barge. Every day while cycling, you’ll get to know more of its numerous historical cities, beautiful river landscapes and diverse natural areas. Every evening, you’ll return to your floating hotel barge named the De Nassau (2021: De Holland), docked in a picturesque harbor along the route. The De Nassau has room for up to sixty guests.

You cycle at your own pace, while your tour guide is only one phone call away for any questions or in case of problems or emergencies. The Hansa Highlightstour is a semi-guided tour. This means that you will receive a daily briefing from the tour guide and that you will cycle at your own pace. Please note that the tour guide will cycle the recreational cycle tour and can only provide assistance at a distance.

The routes, approx. 85 and 121 kilometers (52 and 75.3 mi.) long, are specially designed for fast cyclists who like to ride more kilometers. The overview maps of the daily cycling routes can be found under ‘photos’.

Recreational cyclists
This trip has also been developed for recreational cyclists. So, you can easily book this trip together with a group that prefers to cycle recreational. More information about the recreational cycling routes can be found at: hanzeroute

Beautiful clean rooms. Boat experience, food, bike and staff were excellent – ***. Biking information, nightly reviews, maps and app were very good guidance for our daily excursions thru the villages and towns of the Netherlands. Great experience.
