During this fascinating cycling cruise on board the ship De Holland (2021: De Willemstad) you will discover the best of what the beautiful Provinces of North-Holland and Friesland offer. Explore flat “polder” landscapes – a polder is a low-lying tract of land enclosed by embankments – the North Sea coast, towering sand dunes, long sandy beaches, historic windmills, the island of Texel and the many picturesque harbor towns along the coast of IJsselmeer Lake. It is without doubt a tour not to be missed!

You cycle at your own pace, while your tour guide is only one phone call away for any questions or in case of problems or emergencies. The Northern Tour of Holland is a semi-guided tour. This means that you will receive a daily briefing from the tour guide and that you will cycle at your own pace. Please note that the tour guide will cycle the recreational cycle tour and can only provide assistance at a distance.

The routes, approx. 60 and 120 kilometers long, are specially designed for fast cyclists who like to ride more kilometers. The overview maps of the daily cycling routes can be found under ‘photos’.

Recreational cyclists
This trip has also been developed for recreational cyclists. So, you can easily book this trip together with a group that prefers to cycle recreational. More information about the recreational cycling routes can be found at: Northerntour

2020: The De Holland tours start and end on SATURDAY.
2021: The De Willemstad tours start and end on SUNDAY.
