  • Information ships

    Barge Fleur (20 passengers)
The Fleur started cruising in 2002. This tasteful passenger barge with its sleek lines was built to fit the smaller locks and canals in France and has been cruising the French waters ever since. The Fleur can accommodate a maximum of 20 guests on her trips on the French waterways
The Fleur has two decks. On the top deck there is a lounge, a roomy sitting area, a cozy bar and a sun deck. The whole barge has central heating and air-conditioning.
On the lower deck the Fleur has 10 comfortable guest cabins for two (no bunk beds) and each cabin has a private bathroom.

    Barge Sarah (22 passengers)
The Sarah, with her length of 45 meters and width of 6.6 meters, is a comfortable and cozy passenger barge. During the conversion of the barge from cargo vessel to passenger barge, the owners of the Sarah decided to choose quality instead of quantity. The Sarah is spaciously built for a small group of passengers of max. 20-22 passengers and offers an attractive, “feels-like-to-be-at-home” atmosphere.
The Sarah has a cozy lounge / restaurant with Wifi (with unlimited data use). The barge also has a beautiful large deck, where the meals are served – weather permitting, of course.
In front there are 10 twin cabins (2 with 1 extra bunk bed) with private bathrooms. The cabins also have central heating.

    Barge Allure (20 passengers/10 cabins)

Former owner of the Allure, Jossie Verkerk, started cruising in 1998 with this barge after having it redesigned herself. Jossie turned it into a comfortable passenger ship and from then on, the Allure has been cruising successfully on several bike and barge vacations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Since 2011 Martien van de Velde is the new owner of the Allure and under his management it is a very popular river barge for tours per boat and bike.

The Allure has a comfy air-conditioned lounge, with a TV, sitting area and a small bar. Aboard the barge you’ll also find a large deck, whereat – if the weather allows it – the excellent meals can be served. On nice evenings or while cruising you can enjoy the scenery from the sundeck. In the lounge of the Allure there is free Wi-Fi and central heating everywhere on the barge.
There are 10 comfortable guest cabins in the front: 9 twin cabins (9 m², single beds) and 1 double cabin (9 m², double French bed). All of the cabins have a private shower, toilet and basin, central heating, a small safe and hair dryer. The windows can be opened and the corridor has air-conditioning.

    Barge Gandalf

On this very beloved tour sails the small and comfortable passenger barge MS GANDALF for max. 22 guests. On board of this cosy ship are a total of 10 cabins (ca. 8 M²) with shower + toilet, all with 2 low beds and central heating (2 cabins have a 3rd bunk bed (on request); All cabin windows can be opened. All showers have been renovated  in winter 2016/2017. The salon is a large room for common use and is your restaurant area as well. On the two sun decks of the approx. 45 meter long ship are sitting areas with tables + chairs and storage room for the bikes. Equipped with a double-roof of solar panels, it runs for a great part on green energy! This is not only environment- friendly, but also comfortable for guests: since the ship hardly needs to use a generator to produce electricity, the nights are still and quiet on board. The popular ship sails under Dutch flag and has been sailing in Holland, and Belgium for many years. Skipper Hans Petrus and his experienced crew offer you an exceptional vacation aboard!

Near Zoeterwoude, you will visit the cheese farm where you will learn about the cheese-making process and you will have the opportunity to taste the results. In the afternoon you reach Gouda, famous for the Gouda cheese. Gouda has an attractive compact center with her pretty market square and Gothic town hall. After your visit you return on board (around 9 am) for a late breakfast while the barge sails to Amsterdam. You will enjoy a nice cruise, right through the city.
Today's bike tour takes you from Amsterdam to Zaanse Schans, a unique hamlet where people live and work, with original houses and windmills from the river Zaan area. The hamlet is dominated by operating windmills, the oldest built in 1673, for grinding mustard, spices, paint and oil and for sawing wood into planks. As you walk through the village you will see a clock museum, an old-fashioned grocery store, a house with period furniture, a clog maker and a cheese farm.
