Yes, our spring Tulip Tours will take you to the world-famous Keukenhof flower park near Lisse, home to a gorgeous wealth of bulbs and blooms and surrounded by dazzling fields of tulips. But that’s only the start.

Or, more accurately, Amsterdam is the start (and end) of all of our Tulip Tours, giving you ample chance to explore this compact metropolis’ UNESCO-listed canals, shop up a storm in its boutiques, stop by the ‘Bloemenmarkt’ — the floating flower market in the city centre — and soak up the culture of its museums.

And then it’s time to bike and barge your way around North and South Holland, exploring typical Dutch landscapes by boat and bicycle in the flush of the prettiest season of the year.

There’s more than tulips to our tours!

Our tours give you a glimpse into lesser-known locales like “the Garden of Amsterdam”, stop by historic cities like Haarlem, Leiden and the cheese capital of Gouda, and include a visit to the Zaanse Schans open-air museum — where you’ll find windmills, a clog maker, a traditional Dutch village and a cheese farm. Flower lovers will also be delighted by the chance to witness the early-morning spectacle of the world’s largest flower market, in Aalsmeer, where tonnes of flowers go up for sale in typical Dutch auctions where the prices steadily decrease until a buyer is found. You can expect excellent service from all of our bike and barge trips, but many of our Tulip Tours also offer two different bike tours to choose from each day. City walks are also on offer for those wanting to explore those cobbled streets and those who like a touch of luxury can opt to stay on one of our premium Magnifique barges. Spring will soon be springing, so don’t miss the chance to view the vibrant floral attractions of the Netherlands in style — with a bike and barge tour!
