The picturesque Lycian coast in Turkey is known for a lovely climate and enables you to experience an active cycling & sailing holiday. This area of great natural beauty also contains a lot of cultural highlights like the ancient town of Kaunos, the Carian Tombs near Dalyan, and the Greek ‘ghost town’ of Kayakoy. You will stay aboard a comfortable Turkish gület, a dazzling motor sailer, and will be pampered by a warm-hearted crew.
Each day two enthusiastic cycle tour leaders will guide the bike tours across the peaceful inland with intimate villages and lots of fruit plantations. For the bike tours you will be riding an all terrain bike with 21 or 27 gears and perfectly suitable for this terrain as not all roads are properly paved. Sometimes you have to do a bit of climbing. All routes can be done easily if you have an average physical condition. After the bike tour it’s a great feeling to come home at the ship.
Before the skipper raises the anchor and leaves for a next pretty bay, you will sure first take a cooling dip into the refreshing azure coloured water!
During this cycling & sailing holiday you get acquainted with the renowned Turkish hospitality. You may also try some tasteful regional dishes and even take a traditional mud bath.
