Boat Bike Tours defines monthly campaigns that also apply to bookings made by our cooperation partners. Boat Bike Tours will extend the two current promotions, which will be valid for new bookings, made until the end of April 2021. Each of these two promotions are available for all customers (both European and overseas), but differ per type of tour (premium or non-premium):

For all new bookings by customers from all markets (incl. European customers) for PREMIUM TOURS (with premium packages) with a departure date in 2021 made until incl. April 30, 2021, the following temporary “flexible booking policy” applies:

  • This temporary flexible booking policy allows a customer to change her/his booking (travel date) without paying any penalties.
  • This promotion only applies to new bookings made before 30 April 2021, with any travel date in 2021.
  • This promotion only applies to the premium tours for which Boat Bike Tours is the organizing tour operator.
  • A customer may change the booking to a new travel date with a final arrival date of 30 September 2022.
  • A customer may change the booking up to 3 months before the departure date.
  • The change of date is subject to availability.
  • If the new booking has a different price, the customer must pay the new price.

 

For new bookings by customers from all markets for NON-PREMIUM TOURS (without a premium package), made before 30 April 2021, the following the following “last-minute discount” applies:

  • A customer receives a discount of 25% off the regular tour price (cabin price).
  • This promotion only applies to new bookings made before 30 April 2021 with a travel date before 1 June 2021.
  • NEW is that this discount also applies to new bookings made before 30 April 2021 for our Southern Tour of Holland with De Amsterdam with a travel date before 1 July 2021.
  • This promotion only applies to the NON-premium tours for which Boat Bike Tours is the organizing tour operator, with exception of all Sail & Bike tours in the Netherlands.

The promotions cannot be combined. By the end of April 2021, Boat Bike Tours may announce our new promotions, which will be valid for bookings made on/after May 1, 2021.

 After Boat Bike Tours operated successfully from June 2020, we have updated our “Corona-Covid19-protocol for cycling cruises” (our “safety and hygiene plan”) for the 2021 season. All tours in 2021 will be carried out within the framework of this Corona protocol.

From the start of the season, the crew and tour guides of each ship will undergo a weekly Covid test before the start of each voyage. The rules set by the responsible authorities (in the country of travel, in the country of origin and, if applicable, in the countries of transit) apply to all booked guests.

In this context, we would like to ask you, our cooperation partners, to send all booked guests a copy of our Corona-Covid19-protocol and to inform them about other important matters in this context. The following sources of information are available for this purpose:

 

Boat Bike Tours was invited by the Netherlands Board of Tourism and Conventions (NBTC) to present its bike and boat trips during the online ITB NOW in March 2021. For this purpose, we made a 15-minute video presentation from a compilation of our existing video clips and some new material.

As it is difficult for our partners to do ship and tour inspections on site under the current circumstances, this video is also well suited as online product training for our partners’ employees, so that they can better understand and sell the travel concept “boat and bike”.
