Spring is on its way, the first flowers are sprouting and that means that the start of our 2024 season is just right ahead. Also due to our system changes last winter, the dispatch of our travel documents (“Boarding Info”) has unfortunately been slightly delayed, but we have good news: everything is ready now and is or has already been sent to you. We also have some new discount offers for the summer months of 2024. And…, now that the ITB in Berlin, the world’s leading travel trade event, is just over, we are also cautiously looking forward a bit to the 2025 season. Read more about this in this Partner Update.
TRAVEL INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS
(“BOARDING INFO”) 2024
Last week the final touches were made to the “Boarding Info” 2024. As Boat Bike Tours fundamentally changed its systems last winter, it unfortunately took a little longer than hoped to get this automated process up and running.
From now on, the Boarding Info 2024 can be sent automatically (per booking) to all customers and partners.

In the past, many partners already used their own download link, unique to each partner, with which all Boarding Info for their customers and the trips they had booked can be downloaded at any time. These links have now been reactivated.
Have you already used the download link in the past? Then it is now active again.
In addition, this link is now also available for every partner in your own area of the Boat Bike Tours partner portal. When you log in to our partner portal, you will now also see the download link for the boarding info for your booked tours and customers. This boarding info via the link is (in order to keep all information, such as berths of the ship, as up-to-date as possible) available from six weeks before the date of travel.
Changes?
Have you lost the link you used previously, has your e-mail address to which you would like to receive the boarding info changed in the meantime or do you not yet have access to our new partner portal? Please send an e-mail to [email protected]. We can then activate this for you quickly.
In the past, some partners have opted to receive the boarding info per customer by e-mail AND to use the download link. Would you now like to change this setting and, for example, no longer receive separate e-mails but only download the information yourself? Then please also send an e-mail to [email protected].

FIRST OUTLOOK FOR THE 2025 SEASON
Many exciting developments are planned for the 2025 season. Through our merger with Islandhopping.com, we will be able to offer numerous new wonderful destinations for boat and bike, including in Croatia, Greece and Turkey. There are also plans to increase capacity in the Netherlands and Germany, and the number of departures for the new Sail + Bike tour in Denmark and Sweden, launched for 2024, will be almost doubled next year.
Boat Bike Tours will publish the first bunch of 2025 tour programs late March/early April. More on that in the next Partner Update.
All of these trips in the 2025 season will be bookable for our partners via the BBT partner portal. The booking function is expected to be activated from June 2024. In the coming months, you will find additional new functions in the BBT partner portal (under your own login). We will of course keep you up to date on this.
