Finally, more light appears at the end of the tunnel. The number of vaccinations in many countries is growing rapidly. The European Parliament has taken an important step by approving plans for a European Vaccination Passport that will make international travel possible again. And the Dutch government has described in its “Opening Plan” how society can be reopened step by step. This means that the start of our season is getting closer.
Boat Bike Tours defines monthly campaigns and discount promotions that also apply to bookings made by our cooperation partners. Boat Bike Tours has again slightly adjusted the current promotions. Each of the two promotions is available for all new bookings until May 31, 2021.
The “last minute discount” will be extended and will now apply to new bookings with a booking date up to and including May 31, 2021 and a start date of the tour before July 1, 2021:
• A customer receives a 25% discount on the regular travel sum (cabin price).
• This discount promotion is only valid for new bookings up to and including May 31, 2021 for a trip with a start date before July 1, 2021.
• This discount promotion only applies to trips for which Boat Bike Tours is the organizing tour operator, except for the tours in Germany with the ship Patria.
When booking via the partner login, please enter the “Coupon Code” OPENUP21 for the 25% discount.
In addition, the following new “Super-FLEX conditions” apply to new bookings by May 31, 2021 for all tours with a travel date in 2021:
• These Super-FLEX conditions enable a customer to postpone his booking (travel date) without paying a fee.
• This promotion is only valid for new bookings up to and including May 31, 2021 with a travel date in 2021.
• This promotion only applies to trips where Boat Bike Tours is the organizing tour operator.
• A customer can change the booking to a new travel date without giving reasons and without rebooking costs if the new trip takes place before September 30, 2022.
• A customer can change the booking up to 1 month before the start of the originally booked trip.
• The date change is subject to availability.
• If the new booking has a different price, the customer must pay the new price.

Depending on developments, Boat Bike Tours may announce new promotions at the end of May 2021, which are valid for new bookings on / after June 1, 2021.

Some changes in our 2022 planning
We already had to make some changes in our 2022 planning: all changes and updates can be found or will be available soon in our 2022 Dropbox:
1. In 2022, our Northern Tour of Holland will start and end in Amsterdam on Saturdays. Originally, as in 2021, this tour was scheduled for Sun-Sun. The smaller De Holland will start the 2022 season, by mid-May the larger De Willemstad will replace her.
2. First departure of our Hansa Highlights Tour with De Holland will now be mid-May.
3. In 2022 we will add a new ship to our Southern Tour of Holland: The Poseidon will do several additional departures throughout the season, but with start/end of the tour in Amsterdam on Sundays. In size and style, the Poseidon can be compared with De Amsterdam. The tour program will be identical.
4. For late September and October, we have added and changed some departures to our premium tours between Amsterdam and Bruges vice versa.
