This trip was exceptional with outstanding guides, crew, and participants. The itinerary was challenging but very doable – the right mix of biking, breaks, swimming, tours, and rest. I definitely recommend e-bikes although our 34 year old daughter appreciated the regular bike. We loved the Magellan – so comfortable. The berths and bathrooms comfy and clean. Sometimes the below deck rooms got too hot but showers helped us cool down. Captain Ivan and sailors Hari and Frane made smooth trips. Anchoring for swim stops most welcome in the heat. Chef Bojan and soups-chef Vera went out of their way to accommodate my vegan eating. I so appreciate their efforts and it was delicious. Žuži and Zdrxvko (sorry for bad spelling) took good care of our food and drink needs. Our guides: Srdan and Luka were very protective of us. They always started a ride with clear expectations and directions. No one was left behind. We learned about areas where we traveled – culture and nature. One of our group injured her hand and they were professional and effective in getting her the needed treatment. That was so important for all of us. They are also lots of fun with good experiences of local food and drink. The group was terrific with many making new friends and sharing experiences with each other. No downsides to this group at all.

It was a great holiday that was very well managed by both the boat staff and your guides. We had the opportunity to make new friends from around the world and they were there to enjoy the experience as much as us. We loved Croatia and the lovely people who lived and worked there. The combination of the cycle rides and sightseeing was excellent too. The Dalmation coast and the myriad of different islands to see was wonderful. Finally, the standard of food that was produced from the boat’s small galley was nothing short of amazing! We could not fault it!!

Just returned from a boat/bike tour of the Croatia National Parks. Everything was well organized and was as advertised. The bikes were comfortable, and the pace of the holiday was right for us with a mix of sightseeing and bicycling.

Bikes and guides were ALWAYS ready to go on wonderfully planned rides! Well planned and guided with varied trails!

We felt privileged to be able to take the National Parks Plus tour. The accommodations, the food, and the rides were all fine. One area of possible improvement is interpretation. Luka and Dora were unfailingly polite and responsive, but they didn’t tell us much about the countryside we were passing. Knowing the basics about an area’s history, geography, and economy would enrich the experience. Tips on Croatian pronunciation would also be helpful. The Melody’s dining area could use sound-absorbing materials. The din at mealtimes was sometimes deafening.

The guides, Dora and Luka, were. both outstanding, helpful and useful. They acted quickly when we had medical issue and used good judgement and helpful with the medical follow-up, especially translating for us. The food, the rooms, the other staff on the boat were warm and courteous and exceeding our needs. The boat was clean and comfortable, the food was good, but limited gluten free options. The biking was as described, about 20/25 miles on 5 days, but only biked in the morning to lunch. Time in afternoon for touring, swimming off boat or relaxing. Weather was great! Fantastic trip with excellent guides. Food on board was fantastic. Great cycling through some very nice roads.

The bike boat experience in Croatia was good overall but could have some improvements. The boat (Melody) was excellent. Food, accommodation and crew were great. The only criticism is that there was not enough food at breakfast. People who arrived late or at the end of the line didn’t get any. The bike rides were good at times but too much riding on busy roads and too large a group In Holland we were permitted to ride at our own pace with our maps and GPS. As long as we were at the boat by a certain time. We much prefer this way.
