Équipage et guide très sympathique

This was an incredible experience. The trip was postponed due to Covid, but gave us the opportunity to enjoy the adventure more. Would highly recommend boat bike to anyone potentially considering it!

Great itinerary, crew, and execution. Based on my experience with guided hiking and kayaking tours, I can say that Arnold, our guide is an outstanding guide. The briefing, the schedule, the narration of the history, the guided bike trips, etc. we’re flawlessly executed. I highly recommend this tour

A friend and I were on The Magnifique III from April 8th-the 12th. It was a magnificent experience. The crew from the captain to the tour guide were very friendly and helpful. The boat was very clean, the beds were made every day and bathrooms cleaned. They were very accommodating when my friend and I wanted to switch bikes. All the other guess were of various nationalities and very friendly. I would go on this trip over and over again I enjoyed it so much

The entire Boat & Bike Tour crew and staff were professional, skilled, attentive, and fun! Arnold did an excellent job leading 19 cyclists. Silvia, Agnes, Robin, and the Captain made our trip very enjoyable.

The entire crew was great. They all put in the effort to make the whole boat happy. Japka was the perfect tour leader. Peter kept us all well fed. Lou not only handled all the housekeeping but helped out with the food service too. Winnie and Mariya did everything necessary to keep the boat running smoothly.

We really loved our trip down the Danube aboard the Prinzessen Katharina. The ship is lovely and beautifully maintained. Staff were all very nice and attentive. The bikes were in great shape and easy to ride. Food was good and plentiful. The reason I am not giving this 5 stars is we were told by Boat Bike Tours that the beverages would be included on board (basic beer, house wine, water, coffee and tea) which were not. For example, a glass of water at dinner was 1.80 euro. This added an expense we had not been anticipating. There was water and coffee and tea available at breakfast and they had a coffee service mid afternoon, otherwise if you wanted any beverages there was a charge. I was very disappointed that we were misinformed by Boat Bike Tours and by their lack of response to their error. Otherwise, beautiful trip, incredible scenery, all great, just be prepared to pay extra for any beverages you may want to consume.

We used e-bikes and they were great especially with the wind. The tulips were lovely. The food on board the ship was excellent! Kudos to the chef. The crew was very attentive and helpful. Disappointed that we did not have a sweep when we biked. Paid guests should not have that responsibility. As a result some of our group got lost.

This trip exceeded all our expectations. Everything was wonderful. The ship was great, the food outstanding and the crew was fun, knowledgeable and available. We saw everything we wanted to – small towns, Texel, flowers, pubs, countryside, canals etc. The bikes were perfect for this trip. I would be remiss to not mention our sensational tour guide – Japke. She truly made our trip a vacation to remember. Her knowledge, energy and passion was on full display from the moment we arrived on the boat until we left. She kept us going with the agenda for the day, leading rides, answering questions and evening tours of the towns we were in. She is a terrific ambassador for boat bike tours and the Netherlands. What ever she is being paid, it is not enough. She deserves a raise ! We were fortunate to have her lead our trip.
