I enjoyed the combination of biking and good food. The hosts were fantastic!! I can recommend this trip to anyone.

The Staff and their dedication to Excellence in all aspects of the delivery of their services. What a great team. As the experience unfolded, and adjustments to plan where required, the team’s ability to sustain attention to the best interest of the guests and the quality of the experience was simply brilliant. Well done all.

Quality of the guides was excellent, food was fantastic, and all staff were friendly. 33 cyclists strung out over a long distance was challenging at times but the guides did their best to manage it all.

Our guide, Irena made this tour fun, extremely enjoyable, and safe. The rest of the crew, Ricardo, Sylvia, and Irena also made it very enjoyable. The meals were yummy. I might add all the crew were funny, entertaining.

What a great tour. Irene was an absolutely awesome guide. The crew was fantastic, as was the food. We had a wonderful group of fellow travelers. We would have liked more time in the saddle, but overall, it was excellent!

The whole crew of the Ava Maria set the tone for the trip. They worked well as a team while enjoying the trip as much as we were. Always willing to help us in anyway possible. The boat was immaculate and the meals amazing. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Italy Tour – Mantua to Venice Guide and Crew were so friendly and made everyone feel very at ease. They were some of the most genuinely happy people. There was no stress planning or getting anything figured out once on the boat. Everything was in order and My husband and I could just enjoy the day. The food was some of the best food I had in Italy, and I ate quite a bit off the boat during my stay in other areas of the country. I was afraid we would not be able to eat out at restaurants easily but after eating the chef’s food, I didn’t want to. Still if you did want to, it was easy enough to do. As far as difficulty level on the bikes, we chose easy so that we could share the trip with older family member. The biking was as easy as advertised, we did level 1, we rode about 145 miles and it wasn’t hard. To help give you an idea… We don’t bike at home, we do basic fitness stuff (run about 1-2 miles a week) and would probably be considered healthy but not super in shape or obsessed with fitness. I had my Mom in her 60’s with me on an E bike and she did the whole thing with me just fine, and she never exercises. It was a good combo for us both. She got to relax on the E bike, and I got a light exercise. I think it was one of the most fun vacations we’ve ever been on together.

This was my 4th BoatBike tour. Mantova to Venice, Aigues Mortes to Avignon, Paris to Bruges Nd Aigues to Avignon again. They have all been fantastic with great leaders and staff. This year it was special because we were only 9 people so it was very personalized. Sara’s gourmet meals were super. Delicious without being too rich. Our leader Hein was very knowledgeable and on top of that, funny with some great stories to tell because of his rich life experiences. And beautiful countryside of course and we had great luck with the weather.

The Mantua to Venice tour was amazing! I can’t say enough about how wonderful this experience was. Italy is amazing always, but in this case, it was the staff and tour leaders that made this vacation so memorable. The tour guides took such great care of us – really trying to make our riding enjoyable. The boat staff (including the guides) were obviously happy to be there, worked very well together as a team and made it their mission to make us happy. The food was great, the boat was clean, the staff friendly. I would highly recommend this tour!
