Cabin 39 the Junior Suite is next door to the ships generator. The generator has to run all night to keep the AirCon working. So it’s very hard to sleep. The crew were very helpful and as another cabin was empty nearby we did eventually get some good sleep. Bikes and food were good

Our trip was wonderful fun. People from 8 countries and 5 different states in the US. Wonderful to meet so many people. Ship crew and bike guides navigated seamlessly around some rough weather so that every day was a treat

We had a great week in Northern Holland with boat bike tours. The room was necessarily small but comfortable, bikes were well-maintained and the food was good and plentiful.

Generally the bike/boat experience exceeded our expectations. The boat was very comfortable. Dining and bar area spacious and very nice. Food was fantastic, great selection and amazing 5 course dinners. The biking trips mostly well organized, had a little trouble with the maps one day but the distances were very doable with breaks during the day. One day 2/3rds of our group had intestinal issues, so did other parties on the boat. We felt that crew could have made an announcement as soon as we made them aware for strict hand washing and hand sanitizing before and after dining to prevent further contamination. Tour guide made great bus trip accommodations when our boat could not make it to Budapest due to low water. Would definitely consider a boat bike tour again!

We did a tour on the MSBordeaux. We wanted to do the Munich to Vienna trip but we booked too late. The overall trip was very good. The dinners on some days were not very good. They ran out of food, had slow service and some of the meals were undercooked. There was not very good organisation of the distribution of the bikes. Everyone was sent to retrieve their bike at the same time. It was chaotic. It should have been done group by group. The cabins were tiny but sufficient. The places we toured were wonderful. The written instructions are hard to follow so make sure you get a GPS

Very helpful during the booking process. Answered questions promptly and clearly. Materials provided to us were very informative as to how to plan for the trip and what to expect on tour. One little glitch regarding our bikes. When we arrived they didn’t have our requirements although we had entered them but the issue was solved quickly. We liked the smaller setting (boat).

The ship was fine, the staff wonderfullly attentive. However when bikes malfunctioned and a virus went through the boat – no one took responsibility for those issues. They also need to have the trail on GPS so people don’t get lost.

Everything was great, food, people, tours! We really had a great time with our guide Joppe, very nice staff on board and the food was amazing! Great experience.

We have done other cycle and boat tours, being quite active this one looked appealing with just about the right amount of cycling and visiting a scenic country. However the ‘First Class’ boat was sadly not. Our cabin, number 2, was small, with a double bed and two bunk beds, this greatly restricted the available space. It gave it the appearance of a backpacker’s hostel not a good hotel room as the holiday descriptions like to portray. The double bed was over a metre above the floor which made it really awkward to get in to and out of, especially as we are in our sixties. Available space to dress etc. was minimal. There was plenty of storage space and the bathroom was good. It was clean. You spend a lot of time on the boat. The cycling was not what we expected, it being very limited. We had weather problems which restricted the places we could go but we were getting a bit stir crazy. There is not much to do if the weather is not too good so you look forward to good cycling. With this tour you get lunch, most thought it a waste of time. You had to get back to the boat which meant that most of the cycling was just a couple of hours a day, mostly mornings and for us one afternoon. Once you leave the coastline on the bikes the scenery is not that interesting certainly on the routes we went on.. We were enforced to stay in Zadar for two days, it is not a big town. The food on board was OK, it is waiter service. There are two nights you have to find places to eat. The biggest disappointment for us was the cabin, we know you cannot trust the photos in brochures, but it was not the luxury we were led to expect. Certainly not for the price you pay. We will not be doing this one again, and sadly, have been left with a feeling of being ripped off.

I thoroughly enjoyed the trip! The cycling tours had a mix of easy and slightly more challenging days. The boat is an older boat and for the most part beautifully maintained. The bedrooms could do with a little refresh.
