Lost one day due to gale force winds and dodged the rain on several days, none of which is the companies fault. It was a boat experience so rooms were small and basic but clean, lots of food, nice lounge and good company. Bike tour director went out of her way to be helpful. Beautiful scenery and good maps and directions. Getting lost meant more to see and opportunities to be creative. Lots of places to investigate and places to stop of interest and to eat. Would we do it again? Yes.

Staff and admin was done very well and they are your best assets Bikes are not up to the hilly county and need to be replaced by a more commuter style bike like Backroads uses The cabins in need of a refresh Food was good for most part but could be better with some more variety for lunch and breakfast With some minor upgrades this trip could go from good to great and I wouldn’t be fussed to pay a bit more if these upgrades were implemented.

The trip on the Gandulf exceeded my expectations. From my online reservation to answering my questions re: where to find the dock from the train, from stepping on the boat to the elegant dinners, and from fitting my bike to the spectacular rides along the dikes. This trip was A+.

This was a great holiday. The crew were pleasant and accommodating. The accommodation comfortable and the food and drink excellent. The cycle routes were well thought out and interesting. Add good company for a perfect holiday.

The Magnifique II was a wonderful barge which added greatly to the whole experience. I would follow the itineraries of this boat closely when I make my choice for my next bike trip. The entire staff also were friendly and accommodating . It was a peak experience.

The food was bad. They need a new chef. The sleeping quarters were very tight and tiny. The staff were excellent. They made the tour very enjoyable. The breakfast was pretty good and the cold cuts and begets with some greens made a good lunch to take with you. Unfortunately, the majority of the dinners were just poor. Most of the people we spoke with agreed with us about the poor dinners. The bicycles were decent though they could have done a better job checking them prior to the ride because all four of the bicycles in our group had malfunctions. Otherwise the bicycles themselves Road smoothly. The biggest complaints that people had was that the rides were sold as being easy, for ages 8-80. When in actuality he they were hilly and long. The roads were very pretty and the locations chosen were lovely. Lots of great wine tasting at the Château’s. The staff really made the trip enjoyable. They were very helpful and extremely cheery. The last night is a party with dance music and a disco ball. Lots of fun.

Fabulous experience start to finish!!!

We had an excellent tour with Arrie on the MS L’Estello. Good tour guide, well planned tour, lovely boat and crew. All and all a great experience with an awesome group of people.

The week was exactly as advertised. Would recommend this trip as a relaxed way to see Belgium. Our guide, Peter, was very knowledgeable and approachable when we had questions. Captain and crew on the boat were great and added to the fun. Food was first class. Only issue was a technical problem with an e-bike that took several days to resolve. No ones fault really, but it would have been nice to have a backup plan and staff should be familiar with the equipment. Overall had a great experience. The owner of the boat, Quo Vadis, said they are doing a refit on the rooms this winter.

Good trip. Guides were very accommodating. Food was excellent and a real highlight.
