The food was very good, the staff very helpful and friendly, and overall, this was a great value for the money. This is not a “luxury” experience – cabins are very tight spaces, and the biking is relatively short distances (roughly 18 – 32 miles per day), but we were looking for something low key to do with a group of friends, and didn’t want a high-pressure trip. We always had time to stop for photos, tour mills, walk through little towns, and, in this case, “smell the tulips!” I came home thoroughly relaxed but also feeling fit and healthy. Youngsters, take note: this is for the over 50 crowd! Loved it!

The trip was very much as advertised. The crew was very friendly. The cabins were not large but very well designed. The guides made a real effort to add some cultural tourism to the biking. it was fun.

It’s a long way from home in Australia to Europe and it’s therefore important to be able to have the utmost confidence in any tour company you book with. Boat and Bike Tours have proven to be extremely reliable with prompt replies to all emails and booking queries and very clear and definitive instructions as to what we needed to bring when we joined our tour. The Allure which was the barge/ boat we would call home is homely and carries a great crew …. and thankfully for us they all speak some english.
