Great biking experience, wonderful guides, comfortable room, and great food.

We had a trip we will remember for a long time to come for many different reasons: the amazing experience of being on a large sailing boat; the Dutch countryside is just stunning & very easy to cycle through; the quality of food was excellent; everything was very well organised and it great to meet other like-minded cyclists from many different countries. Our cabin was good but you will need to accept that they are not very spacious! Sitting on deck is very relaxing. There is a good choice of the level activity & there is time to explore towns as well.

The entire crew was fantastic. Boat and cabin were exquisite. Biking along the rivers and bouncing from country to country was great. Thanks for such a great vacation. We are already looking which trip to do next.

This was a trip that delivered beyond expectations: The food was nutritious and delicious, the staff was efficient and thorough, the lodging was comfortable , making the whole experience geared to the comfort of the clients.

I was on the Flora, traveling from Koblenz to Merzig in September. The trip was nothing short of fabulous. Fresh air, easy bike rides, interesting towns, beautiful scenery, amazing food, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful crew. We are already looking forward to our next trip with boatandbike!

Biking in small villages and towns in areas of the Netherlands that I would not otherwise see was the highlight. Being on a ship for the week was relaxing, and I enjoyed getting to know other passengers. I appreciated the large ship and small group of passengers. The dinners were very good and I appreciated the variety. The breakfasts were quite repetitive, despite offering an array of options each morning. Being able to add a piece of fruit to the sandwich picnics would have been helpful as well. The staff were interesting, pleasant and easy to work with. Note: I would have happily paid more for a nicer quality of wine.

This was my first boat-bike tour, although I’ve been on several hiking tours in different parts of the world. I had an exceptional experience: the cycling guides were attentive and accommodating, the Fleur was a well-appointed, clean and comfortable barge, and the food–well! Suffice to say that the chef was first class; as I told him, despite all the biking I not only didn’t lose weight, but probably gained some. I would unreservedly recommend this trip to anyone who is looking for a moderate cycling experience in a scenic corner of Europe.

Staff is wonderful, tour guides are knowledgeable and considerate, accommodations are great. It’s a wonderful way to see authentic countryside and culture. I look forward to doing several more such tours!!

The boat and state rooms was luxurious and comfortable. The service was friendly and the guides were very accommodating. Some suggested improvements: firmer mattresses, the beds were too soft, offer alternative routes for guests that would like to bike farther and at a faster pace, better bikes with more gears to get up the hills easier.

Every part of our Moselle cycling adventure was great, from the guides (Corrie and Neils) to the food, to the cities and towns, to the onboard accommodations, to the friendly staff, to the scenery and easy cycling….not to mention the weather cooperated very nicely! Well done!
