Loved the boat and crew. The route and sites were beautiful. However, the two guides put many riders at risk. On the first day the Group 1 leader had gotten us lost so many times that we actually had to turn around at least 8 times. I fell four times because I had to keep looking back and stop to make sure the back of the group knew where to turn because the guide was going to fast through the city. One friend was left behind in a city on the fifth day because neither of the guides did a count before leaving. Even after the incident and riders wanting to do a count, they did not do a count. Many problems with the guides; not acting as a team, not training each other, poor communication, stopping on bike paths, etc. I was very stressed out seeing that I was the one who coordinated 28 people to sign up. Several people fell and had bad experiences. But we also had so many great experiences. Riding to Amsterdam on the last day was awesome. On the last night we all bonded in relief and celebration that no one got seriously hurt. This was my fifth time doing a bike and barge trip. These guides were the worst.

The tour was a unique way to see the countryside. The boat was beautifully outfitted for our purposes, the food was plentiful and very good and the tour guides were interesting and informative. We kept a fair pace when biking and had enough breaks and stops so it was manageable for everyone. Everything was well organized and effective. The size of the group was small enough to get to know most of the other guests and enjoy their company. I would do another tour with them

The whole Boat n Bike experience was amazing!! From the crew: Patrick our captain, Jens, Rutger, Mieke, Else-Mieke and our tour guides Marie-Jose & Corrie simple made this trip a must do!! The boat was so well laid our , fab food, they took such great care of all. Our group of 6 Canadians had so much fun seeing and learning so much from the guides of the Netherlands and Belgium!! Riding through countryside, villages, towns – it was breath taking! Thank you

I really liked our Amsterdam to Bruges bike tour on the Maniifique III. The staff was exceptional and the service impeccable. I really liked the spacious deluxe cabin we were in. The beds were very comfortable and it had all the amenities we needed except for possibly three or four more hangers in the closet. The food and drink were wonderful. My wife has a very special diet she needs to be on, and the chef accommodated her needs very well. The bike rides were fun but perhaps a little too long for some of my fellow travelers. The tours in the evening were also a little too long for my liking. I would have liked to have gone to a pub instead of a tour on the evenings I was worn out from biking, but no pub suggestions were offered. I think it would have been nice to offer pub suggestions and perhaps directions back to the boat. In summary, it’s hard to make 40 people all content, but Boat Bike Tours really did there best to do so.

We had a fabulous experience! Wonderful ship, fantastic meals, knowledgeable, friendly staff, great experience everywhere we went.

This was my second bike tour with this company and hope to travel with them again. The bikes were quality and easy to ride. Helmets and panniers were provided. The food was excellent and plentiful. Thanks especially for the black licorice! Guides and crew were pleasant and helpful. I really only have positive things to say and have recommended this tour to many people.

Boat-bike tours are an exceptional way to see Europe, and Boat Bike Tours is an exceptional tour operator. This was our first trip on a “Magnifique” ship (our fourth boat-bike trip in Europe), and we will not travel on a smaller (10 cabin) ship again. The experience was wonderful all the way around.

From the moment I stepped on the boat, I felt the team was there to ensure we all had a great experience. The sites and activities were perfect for a 5 day bike/boat experience.

So many thoughts and good feels I’ll try to sum up here. Our lovely neighbors recommended BoatBikeTours and we immediately booked our trip. 8 days Brugge to Amsterdam October 2022. Aside from a couple rainy rides, the weather was spectacular. Even in the sprinkles, the temps were wonderful. Magnifique lll staff was top notch and amenities were pure luxury. Every single detail was exquisite: breakfast lunch dinner expertly designed, bar offerings and service, room layout and amenities w/ spectacular daily refresh, glorious outdoor spaces and best boat cruise vibes. The ship was simply the best and we wouldn’t change a thing. Special hug and scritch to Sammie our canine companion. Our BBT biking guides were almost beyond words. We appreciated that they were always in sync with our crew at the perfect speed and perfect itinerary, with bikes ready!, and so much knowledge every step of the way. Peter, Jens, and Margaret are the coolest, funniest, sweetest, most skilled biker guides you’ll find. My husband had a special bond with Peter the Belgian, and Jens the Frieslandian was my jam. IN TUNE with each of us the entire time. Beer, local history and cuisine, routes and detours, biking safety and traffic navigation, overall awesomeness and killer vibes. The three of them played extremely well off each other and each one of our 25person group! DREAM TEAM. The BoatBikeTour is expertly coordinated and an extraordinary way to experience the land and culture plus get a little exercise! I highly recommend these tours and look forward to our next one.
