The staff was excellent and attended to everyone’s needs. The small primium we paid for our vegan meals was well worth the expense as the chef prepared fantastic four-course dinners. Our bike leader was outstanding in all regards. Provance was wonderful!

The crew was amazing and accommodating! The guides always put our safety and our experience first! The beds were so comfortable I slept in every morning until the breakfast bell was rung:) And the FOOD was incredible!!! The islands were beautiful and having swim stops most days was a great way to unwind!

We really enjoyed our biking vacation on Boat Bike Tours. We toured on the Fluvius from Bruges to Amsterdam. The trip was everything we had hoped for, the boat was clean and well maintained, the food was good and the staff was great. The weather was almost perfect, we did have one rain day but even that was ok. The boat is small, only 8 staff and 44 passengers, so you get to know everyone. The rooms were small but we didn’t sign up for a luxury cruise, they were cleaned daily. The bikes were nice and were in good repair and worked well for the type riding that we did, again not fancy. They offered guided ride and non-guided rides, we chose the non-guide and found that the “ride with gps” app worked well to keep us on track. I would high recommend this tour if you enjoy recreational riding and want to explore some of Europe’s nice bike trails.

We did not like the way the lunch process was set up. Make your own lunch in a small area with 24 people. One day we ran out of lunch meat and I had a wonderful sandwich of bread and butter for lunch. Also, too many people for the size of the boat, it always felt crowded. The bike trips were good and the route was beautiful.
Hi James, Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the issues you experienced during your trip. We understand that the lunch process and the crowdedness of the boat were not up to your satisfaction. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the bike trips and found the route beautiful. However, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the lunch setup, such as running out of lunch meat. We also apologize for the crowdedness on the boat. Your comments will help us improve these aspects for future trips. We appreciate your understanding and value your feedback. If you have any further suggestions, please feel free to let us know. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with an improved experience on your next visit. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts. Warm regards, Romy

The beautiful boat and the utterly charming crew made the experience of floating on, and cycling along the Rhein the loveliest it could be. I travelled alone and the rest of the passengers were in groups from Florida, so interesting chats with friendly crew was all the more important to me. The chef, Richard, was truly exceptional: Simple, healthy food transformed with tantalising combinations of flavours and presentation. I can’t imagine finer dishes at Michelin starred restaurants.

The Olympia is a great ship, clean, very accommodating quarters, nice salon and very roomy dinning room to accommodate all passengers. The crew were simply great, all of them. Efficient, helpful, ever smiling and gave the ship all they had to make the trip a success. My only two comments for making this experience superb are simple and easily adjusted if the company really cares to do so. 1. The 150.00 euro drink package is of good value but restricting it to 4pm is wrong. Most of the cycling trips end well before 4pm and passengers return to the ship by 1:30 or 2:00pm. Make the change to have the drink package effective starting at noon or 1:00pm. Everyone deserves a cold drink after cycling and since we paid 150.00 for the week it is fair to ask for it. 2. The penny pinching WiFi charges are just simply out of date and reality. An extra 10.00 euro per passenger on the cost of the trip right in the price is not noticeable, and having “free” WiFi looks like, and is a better deal for all. Stop the madness of issuing vouchers that expire and so on. Free WiFi is easy, just restrict the volume so people do not watch their movies. A top notch IT person can do that for you.

Thoroughly enjoyed this mode of travel.Staff were all excellent: Jan, Anne-Marie, Romec and Sylvia: friendly and eager to help. Lovely food. Boat was clean. Good cycling distances and exercise each day through beautiful countryside and quaint towns. Aschaffenburg to Bamberg was a perfect choice. Cabins small but comfortable enough. I chose a small barge not a cruise boat. Wine a bit expensive. Crew that smoked kept a distance so no problem- important.Great bikes- well looked after by Romec. 15 ended up with e-bikes and 4 on non e-bikes. Such an excellent way to travel so hope to enjoy another next year. Thank you.

Great tour, well run. Beware that the cycle routes are beautiful and challenging. Do not plan to ride without an e-bike unless you are a high fitness level cyclist. Even so, prepare to be trailing behind the other e-cyclists. I stuck it out for 2 days on a regular bike before switching to an e-bike and I LOVED every minute. But there is an upgrade charge of $30 per day. In this day and age of electronics, I cannot see why the proposed routes cannot be posted on a program like Ride With GPS so that people can see what to expect to ride. Hi am looking forward to the next trip already!
