Our second trip with Boatbike Tours, the Hanseatic Cities, lived up to the very high expectations set by the first trip. The places we visited were stunning, cycling conditions excellent, and the service superb. The food was delicious, varied, healthy and plentiful. Thanks to all the team!

The website was user friendly and easy to review various options and trips of interest. You offer value for the overall boat and bike experience. Easy to book and pay for a trip. This is my second time using your company and I will use you again, and recommend you to family and friends.

Superb trip. The boat and staff were all excellent. Lot’s of little details added so much to the trip, like live candles welcoming us back to the boat in the evening, yummy snacks on our return to the boat after cycling, and the guides shepherding us to our taxi at the end of the trip. The food was great. The boat staff was fun and engaging. The route through the Hanseatic Cities was beautiful and varied. And Boat Bike went above and beyond to ensure my wife had an e-bike that fit her. Can’t say enough good things about Boat Bike and the Hanseatic Cities route.

Everything was amazing. The guides made sure we were safe, organized and entertained! They were able to set a pace that was acceptable to a variety of levels. The boat captain and his crew also made our trip experience wonderful and comfortable. The service and food was beyond amazing. The crew and the guides worked well together to make sure our day was organized, busy and they managed to infuse a few special events into the trip. Loved using the App for the first time on boat/bike tours. Easy to use even for those lacking electronic experience. Rooms and Boat were great – very roomy for a boat. Guides and staff very accommodating and friendly. Only problem for myself was the seat on the bike. I’ve had bigger and more comfortable seats on other tours. Wish I had known. Otherwise, I highly recommend this tour! Thanks for a great time!!

The experience was wonderful. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The suppers were amazing. Breakfast was plentiful but could have been a bit more varied. The bikes were in great shape and we had no issues with them. This is very important as we were self guiding and any problems would have really impacted the trip. The GPS app was great and kept us on track. We look forward to going on another BoatBike trip in the next year.

My experience was excellent with the crew, service and food on the Schwantje from Bruge to Paris! The only thing that I would have liked better is a male bike that was given to me in a photo I requested and a little better heads up on the tip suggested.We had to check out money from the ATM and it costed more than €91 to get the additional. My spouse enjoyed her nice ebike and had a very good experience.

Great food, great views, excellent cycling and first class guides.

We had an excellent time on board the Swiss Crown on our Danube boat/bike trip. The facilities were in excellent shape and the staff were super friendly. The food was top notch from breakfast, the items available for packed lunch, through to the 4 course dinners. Each of the cycling routes were well laid out and met our expectations for experience and difficulty. We were disappointed that we were unable to make it all the way to the Iron Gorge but realize that the weather will dictate certain aspects of any trip. A couple of recommendations: 1. The guide book was printed in both German and English. I think it would be best if these were separate books, one in German and one in English. This would reduce the amount of paper that each traveler would use and more importantly would provide for a smaller book and easier to find each of the relevant routes. 2. It would be nice if there was another drink package option. We did not participate as my wife drinks very little so it would not have been worthwhile for the convenience for me to order whenever I wanted. Unfortunately I do not have a suggestion for you and realize the challenge related to having one person in a cabin with the drink package and one without. 3. With pretty much everyone wanting/needing access to wifi, ubiquitous wifi throughout the boat and for the entire excursion really should be a basic service on the boat. We did encounter an unfortunate incident with the toilets on our row of cabins and as luck would have it, we seemed to be the most impacted by the issue. While the crew did everything they could to resolve the issue as quickly and effectively as possible, we were left with a lingering odor in our cabin for the last three days of the trip. We felt that the management on board could have been more proactive in making up for the inconvenience we experienced. If it wasn’t for this we would have provided a 5 star rating.
