Whether Alonissos, Skopelos, Skiathos or Palaio Trikeri: each of these Aegean islands has its very own character, which is why the entire archipelago impresses with its great diversity. The same applies to Euboea, the second largest island in Greece and the simply breathtaking Pelion peninsula. Look forward to fantastic e-bike tours, quaint harbors, traditional mountain villages, fragrant pine forests, sensational beaches and bays and delicious Greek food!
This trip is part of our Islandhopping Plus program. The PLUS trips offer our guests a plus of everything that makes an Islandhopping trip unique: a comfortable motor yacht, enough e-bikes on board and little surprises along the way.
The ship – Your sailing hotel
In between cycling excursions, you cruise along with the ship, which travels to a new destination every day. You will sleep and have breakfast and 1 or 2 warm meals on board. Depending on the program, this will be lunch or dinner. The other meal is ashore (not included). It’s possible to spend a day on board if you like. There are rental E-Bikes on board.
Day 1: Skiathos island (embarkation)
Individual arrival in Skiathos. Check in begins in Skiathos town from 2 pm. Use the afternoon for a stroll through the lively old town of Skiathos, a chilled beverage on the wooded Bourtzi peninsula or a refreshing dip in the sea. Dinner on board and overnight stay in Skiathos.
Day 2: Alonissos island (aprx. 5 mi./8 km)
In the morning, your boat will take you on a long crossing to Alonissos. On the way, you will make a swimming stop in a beautiful bay. Once you arrive in the port of Patitiri, you will go on your first short bike tour on Alonissos in the afternoon, where you can familiarize yourself with your rental bikes. This warm-up tour takes you along quiet roads up to the enchanting old island capital of Palaia Chora, which you then explore on foot. Countless photo opportunities await you in the winding alleyways and you can enjoy the typical Greek island atmosphere during a coffee break in the shady main square. Then make your way back to Patitiri, where you can round off an eventful first day with a delicious dinner in one of the tavernas located right on the beach.
Day 3: Alonissos island (aprx. 24 mi./38 km) – Skopelos island
Today you will explore the entire island of Alonissos by bike. The island has dedicated itself entirely to ecotourism and inspires with its beautiful nature, fantastic beaches and particularly friendly islanders. The tour takes you from Patitiri to the beach of Chrysi Milia, whose colors are reminiscent of the Caribbean. Here you can swim or enjoy a coffee before continuing towards the fishing villages of Steni Vala and Kalamakia to Agios Dimitrios beach. Along the way, there are wonderful views of the mini-islands off the coast. The route continues onto a high plateau and finally follows a long descent into the bay of Gerakas, where your boat awaits you for lunch. In the afternoon, you will cross over to the neighboring island of Skopelos. The boat trip takes you through the protected marine park, which is home to a colony of the rare Mediterranean monk seal as well as many other animal species. In the evening, you can explore Skopelos town on foot and dine in a restaurant of your choice.
Day 4: Skopelos island (aprx. 26 mi./42 km)
Skopelos simply has everything that makes for a successful day of cycling: high mountains, incredible panoramas, evergreen forests, rugged coastlines and great beaches. On today’s tour, you will discover the full diversity of this exceptionally beautiful island. You start from Skopelos town and cycle along a panoramic road through the impressive mountain world to the lighthouse at Cape Gourouni. On the way to Loutraki, you will also pass the beach of Perivoliou, which is reminiscent of the Irish coastline. Take a break and enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear sea and a lunch in the quaint beach bar. Afterwards, you will cycle past the mountain village of Glossa to the port of Loutraki, where you will spend the night today.
Day 5: Island of Euboea (aprx. 19 mi./31 km)
Morning crossing to Euboea, the second largest island in Greece. Euboea is much less well-known than its glamorous neighboring islands in the Aegean, although the island is in no way inferior to the others in terms of scenic beauty and cultural diversity. Your ship will take you to the north coast of Euboea. From Pefki, your cycle tour today takes you through the traditional mountain villages of Avgaria and Galatsona to the beautiful port of Orei, where your ship awaits you for a late lunch on board. You can spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing on the boat or on the nearby sandy beach before rounding off your day with an individual dinner in one of the harbor tavernas.
Day 6: Pelion peninsula and Palaio Trikeri island (aprx. 13 mi./22km)
Today your boat will take you to the Pelion peninsula, where a breathtaking landscape awaits you. Alongside the islands of Skopelos and Skiathos, Pelion was one of the main filming locations for Mamma Mia. Today’s tour begins in the picturesque harbor of Agia Kyriaki and takes you past the mountain village of Trikeri to the bay of Alogoporos, where you can give your bikes a rest and take a sea taxi to the care-free mini-island of Palao Trikeri. The enchanting island is only 4.5 km² in size and is best explored on foot. If you like, you can visit the Greek Orthodox monastery of the Virgin Mary or go for a swim on one of the island’s beaches. Later there is time for an individual lunch in one of the traditional island tavernas before the sea cab takes you back to Alogoporos. From there, you will continue your journey by e-bike until you finally reach the port of Kottes, where you will have dinner on board and spend the night.
Day 7: Pelion peninsula (aprx. 25 mi./40 km) – Skiathos island
On your last cycle tour, you can once again look forward to fantastic and varied panoramas. The tour first takes you for 25 km along the beautiful coast of Pelion. Take a coffee break in the harbor town of Milina before tackling the final climb of your journey and finally reaching the port of Platania after a descent through a beautiful forest. Your boat will be waiting for you there and you will cross over to the neighboring island of Skiathos. In the afternoon, a transfer will pick you up from Skiathos town and take you to the monastery of Evangelistria and the picturesque Parissis winery, where you can enjoy not only a fabulous view of the island’s capital, but also some of the best wins of the Spora islands. Later, over a last delicious dinner on board, you can look back on a vacation week full of experiences in one of the most scenic regions of Greece and say goodbye to your guides and crew.
Day 8: Skiathos island (disembarkation)
After breakfast on board, disembarkation and individual journey home or you can extend your vacation in Greece.
