We went on a week-long cycling and sailing holiday with the Fluvius from Amsterdam to Bruges with a group of four people. We heard about the trip thanks to my brother.
The tour departed opposite central station in Amsterdam and arrived at a dock in Bruges which was also close to the station. It turned out to be an unforgettable week. We were looked after with great care on board, with delicious meals and well-kept bedrooms. The crew tried to please everyone and the atmosphere was very friendly!
Sailing from the Netherlands to Belgium and cycling under the expert guidance of a bike instructor is highly recommended. We cycled along beautiful routes every day, and the distances were manageable! We had our own bikes and at the end of the trip we cycled from Bruges to Breskens and crossed over to Vlissingen. Then we caught the train back to Amsterdam again. We also had the opportunity to just stay on the boat instead of cycling, which I did on two of the days. Sailing is also a very nice experience.

The Netherlands and Belgium are such beautiful countries with beautiful towns and great bike paths. That is certainly also very important! In short – highly recommended! I think I can safely speak on behalf of my fellow travel companions when I say it was a very wonderful holiday!
